JLPT N3

Well that was really difficult.

I bought textbooks that have it set up so you learn the JLPT material in 6 weeks. I ended up cramming them into about 3 weeks >.< I’m such a procrastinator.

The test is split up into 3 parts: Kanji/ Vocab, Grammar/ Reading and Listening and was about 5hrs.

The Kanji and vocab was sooo hard. I ended up guessing for most of it, along with a lot of the other afsers. Grammar was pretty easy, only a couple I wasn't sure about. And the listening was super easy, but that could because I have practice with that everyday. ;)

There were a ton of ppl there. It was held at one of the universities. You werent allowed to park your car/bike there so it was either bus or get a ride. I ended up taking the bus (since it goes right by my house) and it was packed. Not normal packed either, like I had to get on at the front (normally you get on at the back). They had to have 3 or 4 extra buses for to take all the gaijin to the exam. I use a bus card/ pass thing that u are supposed to scan at the back when you get on and then the front when you get off, and the fee is deducted from that. Since i never got to scan it in the back, the bus driver let me ride for free! Which was great, cause the bus was like 400yen (about 4$).

The exam supervisors were really strict, like you cant open your book until they say, cant write after the time is up, or hold your pencil even O.o. If you break certain rules, they give you a red card (kicked out) or yellow card (2 and ur kicked out)

However, there were a couple of ppl you broke the rules. One guy in my room ended up burping really loud right before the listening part started (cant make noise during the listening section) tho that's kinda unavoidable.

There were a lot of Chinese ppl who would open their books, and even start the test before we started and a couple got in trouble, tho they were sneaky about it. They did not seem to learn, no matter how many times they were warned. A couple of them were kicked out. In my friends room, there was a Chinese lady (I swear I have nothing against Chinese ppl, but they just happened to be the ones breaking the rules the most) who actually pulled out her dictionary during the test and was flipping through it O.O. My friend glared at her, and he got a yellow card for “looking” at someone else’s test. She on the other hand went un notice >.<;.

I was fiddling with my pencil at the beginning of the test, and was given a yellow card for that, ehehe. I have no idea if I passed or not, kanji are still my enemy. Im just glad its done…

Pikachu, I choose you~

Sorry I haven’t updated lately. Don't know if I metioned this earlier, but I’m talking the JLPT N3 (Japanese language proficiency test) and have been busy studying for that… along with other everyday stuff. This will just be a short post.

Yesterday, Helle, me, and a few other exchange students went to see Harry Potter 7 (part 1). I thought it was actually pretty well done, though that could be because I don't really remember the book :P.

Helle and I dressed up as PIKACHUS!!! We ended up changing in the movie theater washroom (we were worried they wouldn't let us in if we were dressed up as pikachus when buying the tickets). Coming out of the bathroom stall, I think we kinda scared the couple girls in there. A gaijin lady also walked in, and just laughed at us (but in a good way).
There wasn't that many ppl in the theater, since it was kinda early and the movie was in English, so it wasn't that weird. However walking out of the movie after, and through the mall… well it was quite amusing to see everyones expressions :P.
We hung out at the eki (station) for a bit, and took pictures. A big group of Japanese ppl (I think they were tourists)  came up to us and asked to take a picture with us!! It was awesome. Also all the little kids kept looking/ pointing and yelling pikachu. IT was so cute!! Half the people who walked by looked at us like we were so cute, and the other half  gave us the “WTF?! Crazy gaijin” look ;). There also a couple guys who took a video of us walking by, hehe.
We went to take purikura, and played a couple games at the arcade such as air hockey and some shooting game. Got even weirder looks, but it was a lot of fun.
I had to take the bus home, and ended up not having enough time to change, so I took the bus home dressed as pikachu… which was a bit awkward since I was alone :P.

Walking home after getting of the bus, some random tourists took a picture with me. It was quite a shock to my host family, when a human sized pikachu walked through their door, mwahaha.

Have the JLPT on the 5th. So not ready…. Wish me luck >.<

Nagoya

Last week, I went to Nagoya for a week to stay with a different host family. It was awesome! My host family was super nice, and I miss them. It was mom, dad, my host sis was in 1st year high school and host brother was in 4th year elementary school. I played Pokemon and wii with my host bro the first day, which was a lot of fun XD.
On Monday it was the first day at school, and we took the train to school, which was cool, but super crowded. The school was amazing. I stood out even more, because not only was I a foreigner, but wearing a different uniform. Everyone was really nice, and seemed to be even more open than ppl at my school here. It could be because it was a bigger school (almost twice the size), there were way more guys, or the school was just more… “yanki”, meaning the kids were a bit more rebellious/not super studious.

I was in my host sis’s class, which was a bit weird cause they were all 15, but everyone was really nice. My host sis is in the light music club, which is pretty much a whole bunch of ppl playing the guitar, bass, drums or keyboard. It was cool, at the end of the day, lots of ppl pulled out amps and guitars and sat in their classes practicing.

Next day I had PE, which was one of the super strict things compared to my school in kanazawa. They had to run the length of the gym 40 times, and do push-ups, sit-ups, etc as a warm up, then we played volleyball. The gym teachers kept saying I could rest if I wanted, but I was able to finish with everyone (and pass a lot of ppl ;). Soccer has paid off, haha.
Wednesday was a holiday, so I went to Nagoya Castle with my host dad, which was really cool. Way bigger than Kanazawa Castle. We went out and had unagi (eel) after which was really good!
Friday, was my last day. I was really sad to say goodbye to everyone. Even tho I was only there a week, I made lots of friends, and I really wish I could have stayed at the school. I hung out after with my host sis and a friend went to take purikura.
Oni (japanese troll/demon...thing)
On the way to the station, we saw this super creepy guy who looked just like a oni! He even had fangs! O.O He kinda growled at us when we walked by, and watched us (probably me >.<) walk down the street for a couple of blocks. It was kinda scary. We went to downtown Nagoya, which was awesome. However, there were a couple old, creepy guys who were like “ aww, gaijin in a school uniform… kawaii!” but in a super creepy way. I probably fit some fetish O.o….

I unfortunately caught a cold… I maybe cause I wore my skirt short when I was there, lol. I really miss everyone. I got along super well with my host family, and we talked a lot! My host sis wanted to go on exchange to Canada or Italy or France, so we stayed up one night (my host mom, host sis and me) talking about dif exchange programs and countries and whatnot. They also included me a lot more with chores and stuff, which made me really happy cause I felt like part of the family. It was an awesome week, tho it was kinda nice to be back in Kanazawa and see my host family here again :D.

♥~TOKYO~♥

WARNING: Super long post…(hopefully won’t cause drowsiness)
Back from Tokyo and it was AWESOME!!! I am very grateful that my host mom and host sis let me tag along. We pretty much went to all the main places in like 2 days so it was quite busy.
The trip did not start off all that well, because we took…dun dun dun… a night bus. I hardly slept the whole way there, which was 7 or 8 hours. When I would finally start to doze off, the bus would stop for a break, or to pick up/drop ppl off, which meant they would turn the super bright lights on and then I would have to start all over again. So upon arrival I had hardly slept, but it didn't matter cause I was in TOKYO!
First thing I noticed other than a ton of ppl was that it was dirty. Not filthy, but not like someone had licked the ground clean (like in Kanazawa ;p). I guess with so many more ppl, its kinda unavoidable. I was also shocked to see hobos… homeless ppl to be politically correct. I don’t think of Japan as having that problem, but I passed a guy sleeping under a bridge and then some ppl sleeping under newspapers and in sleeping bags on the stairs in the stations… :( …Anywho… We also saw some foreigners passed out on the floor of the station... was rather embarrassing but hilarious.
We had breakfast, and dropped our stuff off at the hotel, and then headed off to the Pokemon Center!
The Pokemon Center is a store dedicated to pokemon goods, and it was packed because Pokemon Black and White just came out. Everything was super expensive, but everything was really cute. After we went to AKIHABARA!

I loved Akihabara! The nerdyness in me kinda showed. We looked around at some of the random stores. They had everything from anime and manga to electronics. There were some duty free stores that sold just about everything and then I saw a place selling random pieces or computers/electronics and light bulbs and whatnot.
Since my host mom and sis aren’t really into that sort of thing, we didn't look explore as much as I would have liked, but I was able to buy an electronic dictionary for a decent price and got a case for free! I don’t know why I waited so long to buy one, it’s so convenient for looking up kanji and vocab. Also bought a tshirt with Snoopy on it that says 秋葉原 (akihabara).

Lunchtime rolls around and we passed a Indian curry place that looked super delicious, that was run by real Indian ppl O.o/:D. I haven’t had real curry since I came (which is prob one of my fave foods) so I stopped to look at the menu and was like oishisou (looks delicious) the guy came out and started to convince us to come inside  (in perfect Japanese and English). I really wanted to eat there (tho I think my host family was aiming for the Mos Burger) so I convinced them to try something new.
Giant nan bread...mmm :)
When the guy gave us our food, I said arigatou (Thanks) and my host sis said thank you. He looked at us kinda funny and my host mom laughed. The curry was soooo good! Tho we were all stuffed after, there was so much food.

Takeshita Street
After lunch we went to Harajuku! Since it was Saturday, there wasn't really anyone dressed up (most come on Sunday I guess).
There were a lot of cool shops there, and this one street, everything was pretty cheap. Unfortunately the electronic dictionary took most of my moneys, so I will hopefully be able to go back at the end of the year. All the stores had such different fashion (not everything looked the same like it kinda is in Kanazawa).

We then went to Shinjuku, and looked around a bit (just more shopping really XD) and then my host sis went to some break dance meeting and my host mom and I went back to the hotel.

Next day my host sis had more dance stuff, so my host mom took me to Akasuka Temple.
We also saw some random dance going on.
It’s this really famous temple in Tokyo.  It was soooo packed! Like the whole population of Kanazawa could prob fit there. There were tons of random souvenirs shops that lead up to the temple. Looked around there for a bit and then went to meet up with my host sister.

We went to the Imperial Palace…thing. Couldn’t actually go in, but could go up near the gates. It was surrounded by a moat thing, and big stone walls.
We got there just in time to see the changing of the guard
It was in the middle of this huge park, that took forever to walk and it was super hot.

It was then time for Shibuya! First stop was Shibuya 109, which is this super huge mall thing. There is 7 or 8 floors of stores, all girls clothing. They built a second one for guys XD.
Shibuya 109
Since it was Sunday, it was super packed, but we looked around a bit in there and then wandered around Shibuya for the rest of the evening. Got to see the famous crosswalk in shibuya, tho I didn’t get a chance to take a pic from high up, you can see there are tons of ppl.
We were heading for the station (we have been getting around by train the whole time, btw) and passed the Hachiko statue.
Hachiko (kinda blurry)
Since we were in a rush, I was able to snap a pic with my phone… but its pretty crappy.

Next day my host sis went to hang out with friends, and my host mom had an AFS meeting, so I hung out in the lobby of the center where it was held. I ended up sleeping most of the time, but also fiddled with the electronic dictionary.
I found out has helpful/basic phrases in Korean, Chinese, Russian, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Filipino. That amused me for quite awhile listening to the random languages XD.

That evening, we went to my host sis’s break dance competition being held by her team. 2 guys from Thailand ended up winning, but I was awesome watching. There weren’t people from Japan, but all over the world. The judge was from Australia and DJ from the US. I met bboys (and some bgirls) from the US, Canada, Italy, Australia, S. Korea, Thailand, France, and a ton of other countries. Everyone was super cool ;).
kinda blurry
That’s one of the things I found awesome about Tokyo. Though the majority of ppl were Japanese, there were so many gaijin (foreigners). They weren’t just tourists either, you could tell a lot of them lived there. I am very jealous XD. I was not used to seeing that many, so I was kinda staring at the beginning... I also noticed that I hardly got stared at, they are used to gaijin in Tokyo. Reminded me a bit of Canada. :)

After saying goodbye to everyone, it took a lot of convincing from my host mom cause my host sis and I didn’t wanna leave Tokyo, we went back to the hotel, got our stuff and then got on the night bus home. I slept a little more on the way home. I had finally gotten comfortable and dozed off half way thru, but my host mom woke me up and told me to switch with my host sister who had an empty seat beside her. Apparently sleeping with your head in your lap (like what you would do in an airplane during a crash) was not a good way to sleep so she made me move XD.

We got home tuesday at 6am, had a shower and then went to school, where my host sis and I slept thru most of the classes ;p.

Tokyo was amazing! There were so many people and so much to do. I only saw a bit of it. I will most likely be in Tokyo for the last week before I go home, so I will hopefully to explore more of the city when I go back. I came back a lot more broke than when I went, since I had to pay for the hotel and bus and trains and food… but it was totally worth it. One of the highlights of my exchange for sure. :D

♪~It's rainning, it's pouring...~♪

I've been enjoying soccer club a lot lately. I'm not sure what has changed, but there are times when I actually don't want it to end. It could be because me and 2 other girls are the only ones who ever come, so we don't do all that much... ;)

The field where the soccer club practices is split so (the better) half is where the guys practice and then us girls practice on the other half which is also a sort of baseball diamond. Today we saw the baseball team lining up on the edge of the field, so we were worried that they were gonna take it over. We quickly ran over and (only 3 of us) stood there with our soccer balls kinda staring down the baseball club. I heard kowai (scary) from a couple of them, and none of them wanted to come over. XD Eventually 2 got up the courage to bring the bases over, and we continued kinda glaring at them and were saying (not directly to them) that this where the girls practice, and they have their own baseball diamond to practice on.

They were mostly ichinensei (1st years), which could be why they were so intimidated by 3 ninensei (2nd year) girls, but they chose not to practice there and went back to their own field. Victory~! ;)

Unfortunately it started pouring rain. It came on really fast, so all of us (us 3 girls and the 10 boys), all at once ran into the school. Because we still wearing our spikes (cleats) the 13 or so of us were all standing on this really small mat cause we arent allowed on the regular floor with them XD. The guys kept trying to push each other out. XD

It got really bad, so we ended up running around the school and up and down 3 flights of stairs a bunch of times.

I'm going to Tokyo tomorrow with my host sis and host mom, so will post about that next week!
I'm exhausted, so it's off to bed.
Oyasumi ~^^~

The land of Salt

So from the 24-26, Gus, Helle and me went to Noto (northern ishikawa) to stay with a AFS family. They have twins who are going to the US this summer on exchange.

They live near the very top of ishikawa, so it was a bit of a drive to get there. On the way we stopped at a couple places. The main thing Noto is known for is salt. There were soo many salt making places along the way! Everything in Noto was soooo green!
weird tree and lots of rice fields

Salt making place
Salt soda, which was actually kinda good ;p
We got to their house, and then went for okonomiyaki! Definitely one of my favourite foods! :D

The next next day, we went hiking up to this french lighthouse. That spot was also the very center of Japan!
center of Japan!
After, we went for a well deserved swim in the ocean. It was pretty, but kinda cold, at least for me. Everyone else thought it was fine... guess I'm just a wimp XD. We had to get out after an hour or two, because that was when the jelly fish come in o.O...
Island that looks like a cake
That night, one of their friends and her son came to visit.  She was half american/half canadian who had lived in Brazil for part of her childhood. She'd been in Japan since she was 17! It was kinda cool to be able to talk to someone from my country. She also talked to Gus in Portugese. Her son was about the same age as us, who was half Japanese and living in the USA going to (boarding school) high school there. So cool, the kind of people you meet. After dinner, we played with fireworks for a bit and then they went home.
The next day we got up, said goodbye and then they dropped us of at the station and we took the train home, by ourselves ;).

I leave for Hiroshima and Kyoto summer camp in 2 days, and wont be back until the 15... so i won't be posting for the next little while.

July has been super busy!!

Sorry I haven't been able to post in awhile, I have been super busy. It's been summer holidays since the 20th, but I still go to school almost day for soccer club. ITS SOOO HOT!! Everyday is at least 35*C! I've gotten tanned quite a bit (at least for me it is). You just stand outside and start sweating like crazy. Everyone carries a towel with them XD.

Since I'm going to Hiroshima in August, AFS took Helle, Gus and me to watch this really old movie on Hiroshima. We were the only foreigners there, and like the only young ppl too. It was sad, tho we didnt understand alot of it. We kept thinking that this would be really awkward if we were american, tho some of the people probably thought we were. White ppl=american in Japan (most of the time).

We hung out after, and since it was soo hot, we decided to go watch Toy Story 3! It was all in Japanese, and we were so proud at the end of the movie when we realized we understood most of it! \(^o^)/ It was a cute movie too :).

I've hung out with (exchange) friends soo much this summer, when I'm not at club ;). Gone to karaoke alot!
My homeroom at school, including my host sister went to Australia for a 3 week homestay, so the last week or 2 of school was helping them prepare for that XD

I also went to Noto from the 24-27, but that will be in the next post :)

Not a very eventful post, sorry. Busy and super tired and would like to go to bed :)

Tests...again...

Japanese school is all about tests...

Anyway, my homeroom  teacher told me I didn't have to take any tests... but I have chosen to take Korean. I don't know if I mentioned it earlier, but I am taking Korean at school. I think its my favourite class, because I am actually learning something, at the same time as everyone else. The teacher is awesome, cause he actually treats me more or less like an average student, asking me as many questions about how to read/write_____ and say the self introduction, as everyone else.
I am not trying to brag, but I think I'm actually one of the better ones (other than the only guy) in the class. Some of the korean pronounciation sounds nothing like Japanese... more like english, which gives me an advantage.

For the test, all we had to do was read about 20 phrases and the teacher timed us. To see who went first, (there are 10 in the class) we did "jan ken pon" or japanese rock paper scissors. I unfortunately lost, and ended up going first. I thought I did really bad, cause it seemed to take forever.
However, we got our marks back, I got the only 100%! I can't believe it! I was the fastest (3:15) and the only one to read everything right! The guy sitting next to me saw my mark, and proceeded to steal my test and showed it to the rest of the class ~.^

I feel, like I could actually do well in this class :D

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!

2 posts in 1 day! WOW!

Just wanted to wish everyone an awesome CANADA DAY! I will go to school like normal, since I'm in Japan XD.
I've realized since coming to Japan how proud I am to be canadian. I've become very patriotic, which I didn't think would ever happen. I love Canada... from all the nature/wildlife (to the maple syrup, eh?) to the soooo many different cultures and people that call the Great North home ;).

Here's 2 songs to help celebrate Canada/being Canadian!

Birthday!

So technically yesterday was my birthday, but I didn't get a chance to post this.

class wrote on the board
At school yesterday morning, my host sister dragged me to the library when we got there to "study english". She didn't let me go to class first, so I was suspicious that they might be planning something. Sure enough, when I came back to class, everyone was there, and they had written on the board. They all sang me Happy Birthday and gave me a little notebook that everyone in the classed had written in. I also got some little random presents from ppl and the 2 ALT teachers :) I tried to act surprised, but I got really emotional when they started singing Happy Birthday, so I don't know if it came across that way. I'm gonna really miss these guys...
I celebrated my birthday that night with my host family. I got a CD from my host grandma, and a yukata from my host family :) I skyped with my real family today (tho there it was still my birthday XD).
I also got a haircut today. They cut soo much off! Like 8cm! Tho I wanted it shorter, maybe not that short... but I actually like it. It will take a while to get used to though.
Kinda bad picture, taken on cell phone
I thought it was gonna be kinda a hard day, like homesickness wise... but it turned out really great :)

Goodbyes... or not ;)

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I have been pretty busy with club... and nothing amazingly exciting has happened lately that has given me the need to post. Maybe I'm starting to fall into a routine... nothing is as interesting as it used to be? And I'm just a procrastinator... >.<

2 of the Rotary students (Michael and Sandy from the USA) have left, and I was very sad to see them leave. We had goodbye parties with them, which of course, involved karaoke! For one of them, there were like 15 of us, so we got a big room, with tatami floors. It was great hanging out all together, and I miss them. I seem to say this alot, but it's amazing the opportunity exchange gives you to meet people from all over the world (although the US isn't very far from Canada).

srry, kinda bad quality... but it was dark

Also, I found this out about a week ago... one of my bestest friends in Canada was supposed to move this summer, which I was really upset about. She wouldn't be there when I get back. Anyway, I guess now, because of the crappy real estate market and they couldn't sell their house... she's not moving! So yay for the bad economy! (not really, but you get what I mean;)) This made a rather difficult month a whole lot better! :D So see you in 7 months Sterling!! Yikes, exchange is so short... :(

Taiko

Yesterday, all the International/Culture Studies homerooms, went to a Taiko concert/presentation thing. It was so cool! BTW, taiko are like big, traditional drums.

We there for about an hour and a half. I'm  guessing it got a little repetitive for some ppl, because you could see alot of people had dozed off. Even the principal did for a bit XD.

There were 3 guys, and they played all these different drums. They got everyone quite involved, getting them to clap and whatnot. Unfortunately cameras weren't allowed :(.  They were really good! They were also really muscular ;). I guess they need 'em cause they hit the drums really hard... One guy's stick even snapped, but he just pulled out another one and kept on playing. Half the time their sticks and hands were just blurs, they were playing so fast!

My, ankle still hurts, so I don't have club today (gives me a chance to write this XD). Also, in PE, I didn't run... again... so the teacher got me to call out the times for each lap. He said I was doing good and was loud enough, but he took the stop watch to call out the final times for people, I guess I was a bit slow... but whatever. I wrote down the times instead. It made me happy that I actually got to do something instead of just sitting there.

Also, I had to go to this meeting today during lunch. I still have no idea what it was for! :S My homeroom teacher just told me to go to the class. They were deciding which people would do what for something. I don't know how I got dragged into volunteering for whatever it was... I'm now the assistant for something/someone... I'm thinking it was maybe the student council were planning for the school festival, but I didn't really understand when the one girl tried to explain it to me. Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out >.<

I slept too long

Yesterday, I sprained/rolled my ankle during club. It didn't hurt that bad, so I just kinda ignored it. However, today it kept getting worse and worse until eventually my host sis took me to the school nurse.

Backup a bit... the schedule was changed around a bit, so I'm not normally in the library before P.E. (I'll be writing a post about my classes soon) but today I was. I was exhausted today, so I fell asleep. I do sometimes doze off, but wakeup well before the bell. Unfortunately I didn't hear it today, and was still asleep. My host sis came looking for me when I didn't come back for gym, but I guess she didn't see me. Luckily the librarian woke me up. She is super nice, and didn't seem to care that I was asleep. Anyway, I ran into my host sis in the hall (she came up again to look for me).

Since my ankle really hurt, we went to the nurse and I got some ice, and then we went to outside to meet the rest of the class, only 5-10 mins late. We were running around the school, but I couldn't do that. We have 2 teachers for PE. One guy is pretty hard on us and kinda intimidating. I found him kinda scary at first, but he's just really loud (like most gym teachers). The other kinda is younger (I think he's a new teacher) and isn't too hard on us.

The new teacher asked where I had been and my host sis goes and tells him I fell asleep in the library and didn't hear the bell. I thought "What the heck are you doing?! Trying to get me in trouble?!" Everyone started running right after, so I was alone with the teacher and he was like "Mou, Jenny (Geez, Jenny)!" and he gave me the dirtiest (as in glare type thing) look ever. I was like "Kowai! (scary), but he was kinda smiling, so I wasn't sure whether he was trying to be a serious teacher, or just teasing me... I just laughed nervously XD. He didn't say anything else about it though... so whatever...

I just sat there and watched people run laps,  and cheered them on. My ankle is still kinda swollen, so I didn't go to club either. I got a twisted ankle on one leg and a huge bruise from a soccer ball that won't seem to go away on the other >.<. Geez... XD

Hyaku Goku Man Festival

So Saturday (and Sunday) was the Hyaku Goku Man Festival, which is like the biggest festival in Kanazawa. The festival commemorates the entry of Lord Maeda Toshiie into Kanazawa Castle in 1583.
I met up with Helle and Irisz and we went shopping in the morning.

Clothes I bought
We then met up with my host mom and host sister at her break dance competition. Unfortunately we didn't get there in time to see her (tho saw it on video later) but everyone was pretty amazing. I met some of her dance buddies, and they were all really nice. We then spent lot of the day watching the competition. My host sis didn't get to the top 10, but a group of her friends did, so we were cheering for them. I think made it to the semi finals :). You can check out my youtube channel for videos from the break dancing.  We kinda felt like bad exchange students, cause we weren't watching the "cultural festival", but the break dancing was more interesting XD.
"Ancient" firefighter "dancing"on a ladder
That night, everyone in Kanazawa AFS chapter (and Irisz ;) met up. Irisz proceeded to make us look bad in front of our chapter leader, with her amazing japanese XD. They were quite impressed.  After dinner, we danced in the parade. It was awesome! We never learned the dances beforehand, so they just kinda put us on the road and told us to dance. It is now considered the "Humiliate the Foreigners Parade" ;p. It took a bit to get a hang of the 3 different dances, but I had sooo much fun! There were tons of people dancing the traditional dances through downtown, and random people of the street would come and join in.
Helle, me and Irisz
All the ppl in the street downtown

Sunday, I hung out with the Rotary and AFS exchange students. The Rotary ppl are leaving within the next 2 months, and I will be sad to see them leave. Always good times. ;)
